Creative Minds Preschool & Childcare is a premier childcare center in West Fargo, North Dakota for ages birth through age 12. Creative Minds also includes a preschool and pre-k program that prepares children for elementary school. Owner/ Director Andrea Sandbeck realized the growing need for childcare in the Fargo-Moorhead and surrounding areas and knew this was something that would benefit the community.
Sandbeck opened a small inhome childcare in 2006 after her second daughter was born. Since then, Sandbeck and her team have expanded to a group license of eighteen kids, and also opened a second in-home facility in West Fargo with eighteen kids. Their full center, Creative Minds Preschool & Childcare was added in 2016. After four years, they outgrew their old location and built a brand new facility in 2020 for their Creative Minds family.
“My priority is to provide a facility where your children are not only loved and well cared for,” says Sandbeck, who has grown Creative Minds into a team of fifty-two. “But also create an environment that fosters positive relationships with families as a whole. We believe in creating a space that feels like a second home for our families while providing exceptional care and opportunities for our children,” says Assistant Director Adriana Larson. “We strive to change the culture and expectations in the childcare industry as a whole, proving that we are more than just babysitters; we are educators!”
